She was also in shock. We wrapped her up in a towel took her into our house and got our large traveling cage and brought it into the house. we set her up with a box inside and put her in. Later when she came too, she would respond to us then pass out. I fed her when she could handle it wet bread. This morning she is a little better and ate some grapes from my hand. that is her favorite food. she also took some grain. She is no longer passing out. I am about to go set up my cold frame as a temporary shelter for her so she can be out side again and away from the other hens. ( I have 8 .) It sounds like you had good luck with your chicken. When i called around to local vets. they were clueless in my area about chickens, they suggested everything I have done. Especially the keeping her away from the other birds for awhile. it was good to read about another chicken lover who has had similiar experiences. ThanksAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
