On Wednesday evening we drove into Austin to the Biscuit Brothers' CD release party at Central Market.
The Princess, normally outgoing, was quite shy when she met "Buford", "Dusty" and "Buttermilk". I asked her about it later and she said, "Well, I was shy at first, but as soon as I said something I felt fine." Which was true. She got a signed cd, ate dinner and jammed out to the live music. A fine time was had by all.

Oh Patti!!! You should have told us about this. All of my kids are so anxious to meet the Biscuit Brothers, then we saw Abbie with them, oh man! :) They're so stinking excited for her! :) Let me know if you hear of another opportunity to meet them.
Oh no! I thought I had gotten the information from a homeschooling loop, so just assumed my homeschooling friends all knew about it. I'm sorry... if I hear of another one I'll tell you! It sounds like they do it every year at Central Market, and I know they also do shows around town that you can pay for. Their website should say.
